Ildan (ildan.io) · Beta · Last updated July 16, 2026

Ildan is a voice tutor for language speaking practice. This page explains what data the service handles and why, in plain language.

What we collect

Voice audio

During a session your microphone audio streams directly from your browser to Google's Gemini API, which powers the conversation. Ildan's servers never receive or store your raw audio. Google transcribes the conversation, and those text transcripts are stored with your account. Google processes audio under its own terms of service.

How we use your data

To run the service: personalizing your tutor, tracking your progress, and managing your credits. That is all. We do not sell your data, show ads, or run third-party analytics or tracking scripts.

Where it lives

Data is stored on our servers, with daily encrypted backups on Cloudflare R2. Service providers we rely on: Google (conversation AI), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (network and backups), and Resend (email delivery, where enabled).

Deleting your data

Ask through the in-app contact form and we will delete your account, including transcripts and your learning profile, from live systems. Backup copies expire as backups rotate.

Changes

Ildan is in beta and this policy may be updated as the service evolves; the latest version always lives at this address. Questions? Use the contact form in the app.
