Ildan is an AI voice tutor for practicing spoken languages. By using it you agree to these terms.
The service
Ildan gives you live spoken conversation practice with an AI tutor that remembers your progress. It is currently a beta: things may change, break, or be redesigned as we improve it.
Your account
Sign in with a Google account (or email link). Keep your account to yourself and use the service only for lawful, personal language practice. Each new account receives one free trial; creating accounts to farm trials is not allowed.
Credits and payments
- Speaking time is prepaid: you buy minutes, and they count down while you are connected to the tutor.
- Purchases are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown before you buy.
- Credits are tied to your account and are not transferable. During the beta, purchased credits do not expire.
- Billing problem, or something went wrong mid-session? Tell us through the in-app contact form and we will sort it out fairly.
An AI tutor
Your tutor is an AI. It is a good practice partner, but it can make mistakes, and it is not a substitute for a certified teacher or an official language qualification. Progress estimates in the app are informal guidance, not certification.
Fair use
Do not attempt to abuse the metering or trial system, automate or scrape the service, or use it in ways that disrupt it for others. We may suspend accounts that do.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as is, without warranties, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability during the beta. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves; the latest version always lives at this address. Continuing to use Ildan after an update means you accept the revised terms.
